Councillor’s Office, second floor
The Nechako Valley Secondary School Clinic (NVSS Clinic) is a school-based medical clinic staffed once a week by Family Physicians from Vanderhoof. Students can book an appointment or drop-in to the clinic on Wednesdays between 9am-12pm (noon) to see a physician.
Visits can be for any need, such as sickness, injury, sexual and mental health, prescriptions, general concerns about their health or wellbeing. The high school medical clinic uses the same electronic medical records as the Omineca Medial Clinic, allowing for continuity of care and follow-ups at either the NVSS Clinic or with a family physician at the Omineca Medical Clinic.
Caregivers or friends are welcome to accompany students to their appointments.
Other services provided at the NVSS Clinic include Primary Care Nurses and Mental Health Clinicians on other days of the week » learn more.
